Updating the app
New versions are delivered from the web — the app checks the release feed and tells you when an update is available. Updates preserve your license, devices, sessions and all data.

- 1On startup the app checks for updates automatically and shows a notification if a new version exists.
- 2Open Settings → Updates to check manually, see the changelog and download the installer.
- 3Run the new installer over the old version — your license, devices, templates and history are all preserved.
- 4If auto-update is enabled, the app downloads the installer in the background and prompts you to install when ready.
- 5After updating, the app restarts and you are back where you left off — no re-login or re-activation needed.

Tip
Check the Changelog page on the website for a full list of what changed in each version before updating.
Warning
While updates preserve all data, it is good practice to export your devices (Settings → Data) before a major version upgrade.
